How to Make a Pendrive Bootable & How to Install Windows 7 from Pendrive.


In this article I will show you 
How to convert a normal PenDrive to bootable &
How to install Windows 7 from this bootable PenDrive.

Requirements
  • PenDrive of atleast 4GB free space.
  • Windows 7 DVD.
  • Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.
STEP.1 
Create Windows 7 ISO.
  • Download and install a free burning Program.There are a number of free burning utilities available online. (eg: nero)
  • Open the burning program.
  • Insert your windows 7 DVD.
  • Look for an option "Create Image" or "Copy to Image" and select Your DVD drive as the source.
  • Start the process.This will create a ISO Image file in your hard disk.
  • Save the ISO file.Make sure You have atleast 4GB of space available in your hard disk.
STEP.2 - 
Download Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.This is available for free from microsoft.

STEP.3 -
  • Start the Program.
  • Select the source file:- Select the ISO that you created in STEP.1
  • Click next
  • Your are give an option either "Burn to a DVD" or "Create USB  device", 
  • Select "USB Device".
  • Choose Your USB Device(Make sure it is connected Properly)
  • Wait for the program to complete. 
(Now You Have Successfully Converted your Normal PenDrive to Bootable)

STEP.4 - 
Install Windows 7 to your system by booting from the PenDrive.(same as installing from a CD/DVD).
